My name is Jack. I have always wanted to start a free community website. With that in mind, I started http://westforkers.com.

I have a background in newspapers, having served as the Business Editor and Assistant Managing Editor for the Benton County Daily Record, back when it was still independently run. I also managed websites for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (nwanews.com and wholehogsports.com).

And just to be clear, this is not some way to make money. It’s just a convenient way to share community news and information.
