Ozark Folkways to get Outdoor Stage

I visited Ozark Folkways today and was intrigued by the beautiful artwork done by local craftsmen and artists that is available for purchase.  The next time you need a special gift please think of Folkways.  The baskets, jewelry, pottery, etc. are unique and made by your friends and neighbors here in West Fork and Winslow.  My sister-in-law from Wisconsin purchased a beautiful jeweled garden bell for a gift.  Made in Arkansas by Janet Adair!  ~ Patty

How to Save Trees in Drought

Good info for the current conditions.

The most important thing we can do to safeguard our trees is to assist the tree root zone (drip line) to obtain maximum water infiltration and also help it rejuvenate the soil microbial activity. On this page, we will tell you where to water a tree, how much water a tree needs based upon its size and the need to use non-chlorinated water and to build up the microbial activity in the soil.

Maintaining a website doesn’t take a lot of energy, but it does require doing a lot of little things on a regular basis. That being said, if there is anyone out there who would like to contribute to the page, please speak up. Thanks for visiting!
